Starting from A....

In church when we are talking of Alpha we are talking about the beginning, from my understanding anyway. This is the beginning of my blogging journey I  want to start from where my mind is right at this moment, to explain it very well my mind wants to go back to where it all started....

Growing up, I never had the privilege to stay in one place, things have always changed around me. The clearest memory I have is when I was living in a nice house somewhere in Harare,  Zimbabwe and I felt like a daddy's girl for a minute until my twin little sisters arrived on this earth.

We then moved to Avondale in Harare. The best part was going out for walks with my father and shopping with mother. Mother was more of a fun stay at home mom and father was also the fun hardworking dad. We were like the Brady Bunch running up and down the house.  I will never forget the time when  fighting with my brothers and I had a loose tooth which was about to fall off, my brothers decided that it was a good idea to make me angry. They managed to aggravate me then I bit Kassim (brother 2)'s toes, all I could see was just blood coming out of my mouth followed by a tiny tooth. When dad came back from work that was where the whole commotion started, my brothers got into so much trouble for bullying little ol' me.

The house was set up like this I was the diva!, Yusuf was the talker, Kassim was the peacemaker and the fun one. The others were Mustaf (brother 1) to me he was the tallest prime minister in the house, Moira (sister 1) was the IT- Girl meaning I always wanted to be like her. The twins back then were just two little kittens to me because I didn't understand why they would come to take my place but I still loved them.  Now you understand why we were the Brady Bunch.

There were days where I felt like a daddy's girl I didn't want it to end...Until 1 darkest season started crawling upon us. No one could ever have seen that coming, I was 5 years old turning 6 when Kassim fell ill. I couldn't understand anything that was going on back then, I just heard that he went to hospital this was after I came back from school and I wasn't walking back home with him as we normally did.
